The terrace faces South and looks over the valley meadows to the wooded hills and the Massif des Maures beyond . There are two full size pool loungers to fight over at siesta time. The lawn, shaded by Chestnut, Mulberry and Evergreen Oak, is opposite the patio, and is the coolest place in the heat of the day. At the end of the lawn is the barbecue hearth and further on, the 'mail room' where you can leave postcards for collection or receive mail if you wish.
The terraced gardens are well kept and contain lots of flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. The pool is forty feet by twenty feet, plus a jacuzzi, and has a consistent depth of about four and a half feet. It has underwater lighting for that late evening swim!
